Rated 2 out of 5 by from What Happen ? What happen to Americas Favorite Tea? I have been an avid LiptonTea drinker since I was a teenager, now at 56 I am thinking of trying others... I drink at least 3 cups of Hot Tea daily, plus make a gallon of Ice Tea on a daily basis and drink most of it myself...but it has become weaker since the new packing and dosn't say Black Tea on it anymore ? Hate the foil ...outer package says nothing abt it being black tea...So what is it ? It's weaker that's for sure !!! Please go back to the original formula in the small bags !!! Also I miss the the envelope it came in too, much more convenient for travel..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dirty Mud in place of Crystal Clear Tea 2014 was the year of "Dirty" Tea. What happened? I have been drinking Lipton Tea my entire life of 55 years. This past year has been most difficult in finding a true Lipton "Black Loose Leaf Tea" I go through a box or more every month, drinking tea 365 no matter what. The poor taste and quality is poor production, crop or quality control. Bring back the true leaf tea and get rid of the grind that brews mud and leaves particles floating and settling on the bottom. Remember your life long customers and bring back a product that you used to sell. I won't buy bottled tea so I plea to you bring back the quality tea I remember.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You've changed the tea I have loved and used Lipton's loose tea for many years. It makes the best iced tea around. BUT-- instead of the clear beautiful tea down to the last drop there is now always a rather significant drift of "tea dust" at the bottom of each pitcher of tea I make. That actually means I can't drink the last drop, and must throw away the last 1/2 cup at least in order not to drink the "bottom dust". I'm sure some of that may not be avoidable, but it is obvious something has changed in the quality of the tea and size of the tea leaves. I can only ask that you return to the quality of tea you have maintained for so many years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lipton 100% Natural Loose Tea Hello, I have been a Lipton Loose Tea customer for 40 years. I have over the last year experienced buying 4 boxes that have been purely ash. The leaves were broken down to nothing. I saved the last box when when finally in my frustration I felt I needed to let your company know how disappointed I am. The boxes were bought at two different stores and all at different times. The date on the last box was marked JAN11179Q01814. Unfortunately, I did not look at the date of the other three boxes. I bought another box last week, and it finally was a decent box of loose tea. I don't know what happened to the other boxes for them to be just ashy and not worth using.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for blending, not so great on its own So, this tea was around $5 for a half pound. As an avid tea drinker, I've had teas that cost three times that amount for an ounce. I knew that it was not going to be anything special. Just out of curiosity, I tried a hot cup of it, unsweetened. As expected, it was weak and flat, but I could see it working in a really sweet iced tea. So, I blended it with about a 25-75 ratio with some Assam tea that I found too strong. That took of the edge for me, and as an added bonus, now I can have more tea, which saves me money. While I do not recommend this tea on its own, it's useful to cut stronger black teas, due to its neutral flavor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loose tea For 30 years I've been brewing your tea with an drip coffee maker. It was simple, quick and tasted good. Last box I bought, the water would not flow through it. Stopped up & overflowed. It looked like sludge. I'm throwing this box away. I will buy another & hope that it is better. If not, we will switch brands. We are just one family that drinks about 3 gallons a week, but it sounds like you have quite a few unhappy customers because not everyone complains. I had one of the old boxes & it stated made in Canada. Where is it being made now? You must not be proud of it since you didn't put it on the box.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What happened! Used to be great I am 45 and have used Lipton Loose Tea since I moved out of mom's house at 18. Mom has used it since she got married several years before that. We have always loved this loose tea. (Hate tea bags) . It seems y'all have not only changed the packaging you have changed the tea too. We used to get bigger leaves and now it is like it is ground more fine almost into a powder. It used to almost fill my small canister now the same size box only goes about 2/3 of the way up. It looks more like the stuff that comes in the tea bags. Please change it back! I would have given it 5+ stars before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What did you do to the loose tea? I have made iced tea with loose tea with a Mr Coffee for many, many years. Ever since your new box and the foil lining there has been a big change for the worse!! Why would you refine the tea so much it is so FINE almost like a powder or maybe mud! There used to be some consistency to the tea that there was no problem running it through the Mr Coffee with a coffee filter--not now, it clogs up the Mr Coffee, not allowing the tea to seep through the coffee maker. Please correct this problem you have created by making changes and bring back the loose tea the way it was before you decided to refine it. It is terrible this way! I cannot use it with my Mr Coffee! I would like to hear from your company regarding these changes.
