Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Sweet Tea, Tastes Like Tea w/Lemon I love sweet tea and have tried different brands. I compared Lipton Sweet Tea in value vs the other brand and decided to get Lipton because of the size of container for the price as well as having always used Lipton Tea Bags figured it would be good. Once I tried it, the first drink it tasted like tea with lemon in it which I absolutely hate! I looked at the container and it said nothing about having lemon in it. I tried it again to see if I was wrong and was not. I couldn't even finish the glass that I had just poured. Needless to say I will never buy this again and will go back to the other brand which takes just like it should, sweet tea. Very disappointed in Lipton on this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lemon Taste Overpowers Any Hint of Real Tea Flavor Lipton Sweet Tea lacks a true tea flavor and has a not-so-subtle taste of lemon. Why is it so difficult to get real tea flavor without resorting to home brewing? I do not always have time to brew tea, so I have been trying a variety of bottled teas, with very mixed results; Gold Peak is okay (at least it has real sugar). I wanted to try the Lipton liquid concentrate, but it does not come in basic tea flavor, just a variety of devilish concoctions, the least onerous being tea with lemon. I think all of the flavor combinations are meant to disguise the lack of true tea taste. Return to the laboratory Lipton and try to formulate real tea. Okay? Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great tea I had knee surgery a couple of yr ago & with my meals I had Lipton Sweet Tea, I loved it immediately....So when I went to Von's which I shop there alway by my house in Lakewood, CA.....I would pick up 2 for $5, a very good price for a gallon, but than not long after that they only 1 maybe 2 if I was lucky.....I ask the manager if he could get more but he said it was up to the company who makes & delivers it to provide the item.....So now I decided to look it up on the internet so here I am. How can you put more of the Lipton sweet tea (blue handle & top) into the Von's store. Sometimes I go there & none is there. You only delivery a few (4 or 6) at the most, sometimes none. Please reply & let me know about this....I really like this drink...Thank you for your time, God bless....Donna

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but prefer old glass bottled tea I miss the old glass bottled Lipton teas. I used to love Lipton over any brand of tea but now with the new changes, I have to agree with the others that your new line of tea tastes too artificial compared to the old formula.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Southern style is so tasty The extra sweet southern style tea tastes just like homemade tea. I drink it all the time when I have extra money to get one (coupons would be nice). The only thing that is disappointing is that you don't serve is in any larger sizes like you do for the other flavors. In my area, that tea is far and away the most popular of the teas and it doesn't make sense as to why there isn't.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lipton Sweet Tea I agree with most of the other reviewers, this isn't real tea. I would compare it to a milder tasting Brisk Sweet Tea, which is disgusting. Everyone should check out the ingredients, better yet compare it to Liptons Pure Leaf. I'm not fully understanding why the price for the Pure Leaf is so much more with less ingredients. I mean the processing time alone with all those chemicals in Lipton Sweet Tea has to be 10 times as long.... Unless it's just some bottled byproduct?
