Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in the New Packaging=Stale Tea Bags Lipton, what were you thinking? How is this packaging( or lack of it) a benefit to the consumer ?Removing the winner you HAD with individual wrapped bags was ideal. It retained the Flavor and freshness. Now this new packaging puts your tea in the same category as the cheap store brand. I had to put your bags in a zip lock bag, but they still got stale and lost its flavor and loose tea spilling out all over the box. (what a waste). You can keep your tea, your new packaging and try and sell your reasoning to someone who would be interested in buying the Brooklyn Bridge!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Packaging for Lipton Decaf Tea I have been a Lipton Tea drinker all my life. I switched from regular to decaf several years ago. Love the tea but do not like the new foil packaging. Once the foil is opened the tea bags will not stay fresh no matter how you try to market it to the contrary. I guess it helps your bottom line but the individually wrapped tea bags keep the tea fresh. Some changes are not for the best, at least from this consumer's point of view.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really disappointed. I have been a very long time Lipton black tea drinker, over 35 years, and was looking for a decaf tea I could drink in the evenings. I found the Decaf Black Tea, and was thrilled! Until I had my first cup, and second, and third...this tea does NOT live up to Lipton standards. It has zero taste, no body, and is like drinking colored water. I am so disappointed in this tea, I actually am going to return the box to the store, if I can find my store receipt. Lipton really needs to go back to the drawing board with this one. I would NOT recommend the decaf black tea to anybody.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Who bought the Lipton Company? What did you do? I have purchased only Lipton tea for many years. The taste and quality of your product was superb. Was Lipton taken over by another company? It seems so ! Your gold foiled wrapped tea bags (regular) are awful. The quality of taste is gone. I understand if packaging them this way saves you money, I really get it. Solution: keep the quality and raise the price! To save money and take the quality away of a product after this many years is clearly a stupid move. If you tested the quality and taste before you changed packaging may I suggest you hire new testers that can actually taste things! Big Boo Boo here Lipton!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed in the new package! I really must say that the lack of individually packaged tea bags is a great disappointment. You've invested heavily in new boxes and outstanding graphics, but seem to have forgotten that PEOPLE use these tea bags in different ways. I always keep a bag or 2 with me to enjoy on the road or at work. That is not possible now. I'm really surprised that no one 'upstairs' picked up on this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate the new packaging! Somehow the tea bag looks smaller and it's just like any other tea on the market. The individual package was perfect for travel. Lipton was my preferred tea for my entire life, not anymore. I haven't noticed any odd smell but to make the decaf more flavorful, I use 2 tea bags. But once this box is gone I'm on to some other tea, there's nothing that makes Lipton special any more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Why the foil wrap? Our family has been a Lipton family for decades. The decaf tea is mostly used. Our Lipton tea bags travel with us. They used to have a convenient paper wrap so a bag could be carried without fear of damage. The tea always seemed fresh. The new foil wrap is very non-friendly. You cannot open a box and retrieve a bag easily. Usually the foil rips the length of the container and all the tea is open to air. Great move Lipton! Do the inventors of the new package even use Lipton tea...I wonder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from doesn't taste any different than regular... I have been an iced tea drinker since my teens (I'm a senior citizen now) don't drink coffee. I switched to decaf two years ago. I am very happy with Lipton decaf black tea bags. No odd odor or taste like some people claim. I make a pot every day, kindof on the strong side for iced. I like your claim to use water/carbonation for the decaf process which shows in the good taste of your tea. All I can say is many thanks☺
